Anging a wildflower on the last page of my favorite book, 2013 Pet Nat For this vintageWith its unforgettable texture, and haunting aromatic lift, the wine lingers on your palate like a great song etched in your mind. The Pinot Gris grapes develop a unique character with a slow, unfurling ageing of over a decade in neutral oak, without any topping up or racking. The gentle oxidation produces a wine alive with vivid flavours of salted almonds and dried blood orange peel.
